Hello and welcome to my blog hop post!

I’ve got four amazing women to introduce to you, and it just so happens that they are all writers, as well!

Here is EJ Rycer, the wonderful author who has become a great friend!
E.J. Rycer lives north of Boston in Massachusetts' Merrimack Valley with her husband. With his support and the support of her close friends and family, E.J. finally decided to follow her life-long dream of becoming an author.

Now for a little bit about me!

What are you working on?

Goodness, what am I NOT working on right now? I have five books rattling around this brain of mine, but my current WIP is Stronger. This is the story of Hayley Cross, who has decided she’s not going down without a fight. Wes Thornton was the heartthrob in high school, and is now the trainer at the local gym. Can he help save Hayley, or is it already too late?

How does your work differ from others in its genre?

I don’t know that I fit perfectly within a single genre, really. Sure, my work is romance, but it’s got a hint of chick lit (I’d like to think I’m funny), and I try to incorporate my faith into my novels. The characters aren’t totally innocent, and often struggle with their faith, but I think that is a realistic portrayal of many Christians today.

Why do I write what I do?

I can’t imagine not writing, so that’s the first thing. As for the type of writing, I’d say I wanted to write books I would want to read, and I’m glad there are others out there who enjoy my books also. I don’t write anything too naughty, as I want my books to be something I can tell my dad I wrote and still be able to look him in the eye!

How does your writing process work?

Ooh, tough one! Start off strong, procrastinate, and then push it through by some super-tight self-imposed deadline. I write late at night, usually, when the house is quiet (or hubby is playing Call of Duty).

To finish up this post, I would like to pass the baton to three very talented authors…

First is Heather Huffman, the author I most admire. I love her work and I know you will, too!
Heather Huffman calls the beautiful Missouri Ozarks home. When not writing, this homesteading mother is busy raising three boys or tending the family’s myriad of animals, which includes alpacas, goats, chickens and ducks. Huffman’s optimistic and somewhat quirky view of life often finds its way into her novels. Heather is the author of Throwaway, Ties that Bind, Jailbird, Suddenly a Spy, Ring of Fire, Tumbleweed, Devil in Disguise, Roses in Ecuador, Fool’s Game, and Waiting for You. You can find out more about her family’s adventures as they strive to live off the land, as well as her writing and charitable work on http://www.heatherhuffman.net

Next is Lee Ryder, a new indie author who has gained quite a following with her debut novel, Broken Earth.
Lee Ryder is a native of Alden, NY where she graduated from Alden Senior High School in 1993. She is an author, editor, reviewer, and blogger who spends much of her time writing short stories and working on her Broken Earth series.

Last, but not least, is Candice Simpson, a fabulous blogger who took me under her wing when I was first trying to get my books out there! She is now an aspiring writer, working on her first novel under her pen name, Candi Conway!
Candice Simpson is a mother to three bountiful boys, a guardian to her developmentally challenged brother, a wife, a personal assistant, an Autism/Fragile X advocate, a PR Manager, new business co-owner, and loves to write life stories!

Candice has been writing since her elementary years and her teachers always encouraged her to express her creativity. She found great pleasure in writing during her Creative Writing classes in high school and often made her college professors laugh and cry through her papers. Candice greatly enjoys writing true stories, criminal happenings, and has even ventured-and published some romantic tales. ;-)

Candice is presently working on a couple of projects in her very limited spare time. One of them is the story of her mother’s death - Murder by the Hands of a Stranger She Loved, and her personal story of a cat-fished love story gone right- Dreams May Fall.

You can find Candice online in several social circles, and she greatly looks forward to getting to know you and your work as well!
